Paramount+ has the largest single-day film list in this month's TV Insider guide, with well over a hundred titles dated November 1. The ones I would pick out are Gone Girl, The Big Short, Hugo, Selma, The Outsiders, The Hunt for Red October, Twister, Trading Places, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Dreamgirls.

There is a lot of older entertainment as well, such as First Blood and the two Rambo sequels, Rango, Cold Mountain, Seabiscuit, Revolutionary Road and An Officer and a Gentleman. And it is a big Christmas shelf, with Scrooged, It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, Bad Santa and its sequel and a pile of television holiday films.

The newer items are separate. The guide gives November 20 for Yellowjackets season 4, the final season, and for the end of MobLand season 2. It lists the 2026 Kids' Choice Awards on November 14 and The JLo Show special on November 26. I covered Yellowjackets earlier, and its final season will get the biggest attention.

A catalogue like this is a reminder that a streaming service is also a video shop. If you only watch new series you may never open the library, but this is where a lot of the best films live.

If you pick one, I would start with Hugo, which I think is Scorsese's most underrated film. What is on your list?
