Netflix has decided that Christmas begins in the first week of November. TV Insider's guide lists a long run of holiday titles on the service, and it starts on November 1 with A Sudden Case of Christmas, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas, No Sleep 'Til Christmas, Same Time, Next Christmas and the two seasons of Mistletoe Murders.

The first weeks are busy. November 3 brings A Cinderella Christmas Ball, Christmas Time Is Here and Menorah in the Middle. November 4 has A Dog's Perfect Christmas, A Runaway Bride for Christmas and Deck the Hallways, and November 5 has Deck the Halls. On November 11 it lists The Gospel of Christmas, How to Fall in Love by Christmas and Rodeo Christmas Romance.

Then come A Christmas Castle Proposal: A Royal in Paradise 2 and The Christmas Switch on November 12, A Merry Christmas Wish on the 13th, and Christmas on the Ranch and Reporting for Christmas on the 16th. The last week has A Cherry Pie Christmas and Christmas at Fields Ranch on the 19th, The Family Holiday, Marry Christmas and Mistletoe Mixup on the 21st, and All for Christmas and The Trouble With Mistletoe on the 24th.

I cannot tell you which of these are good, because I have not seen them and the guide offers no plot details. What I can say is that the formula is comforting, a small town and a surprise romance and a deadline. Some people watch these with a blanket and some with a drink game.

Which of these titles would you actually press play on?
