Brigitte Trogneux was born in Amiens, France and was no ordinary woman. She was a seasoned literature teacher with exceptional intellect and charm. For many years, she maintained a relatively uneventful, yet respected life, juggling her professional career as a teacher at various schools, including the esteemed Lycée Saint-Louis de Gonzague in Paris, and raising three children.
However, this changed in the mid 1990’s when she, as a teacher, crossed paths with a rather unique student named Emmanuel Macron at the drama school he attended, Lycée La Providence. During this time, he was a teenager with an extraordinary amount of confidence and ability to speak as well as a precocious demeanor. He was equally driven and passionate about enrolling at the Pavillon de l’Horloge in Paris. She, his drama teacher, recognized the unique spark within him. It is needless to say that unexplored domains awaited them both.

By the time Emmanuel was set to graduate, the relationship had evolved into something far deeper than the standard teacher-student interaction, which in itself was extraordinary given what one would deem the appropriate age for a teacher to guide a child. That profound connection defied societal expectations and was unbeknownst to contemporary society as a whole. Brigitte, equipped with boundless courage, sensed the complexity and reality of the situation. What followed was deep contemplation and equally sophisticated decisions that needed to be made.
