The movie actors and stars Keke Palmer as Dreux and SZA, in her acting debut, as Alyssa—best friends and roommates who find themselves in a desperate situation when Alyssa's boyfriend squanders their rent money. Facing eviction, the duo embarks on a series of comedic escapades across South Los Angeles to raise $1,500 before their 6 PM deadline. 

The film draws inspiration from classic Black buddy comedies like "Friday," aiming to pay tribute to the genre while offering a fresh perspective. Set in Baldwin Village, South LA, it showcases the vibrant community and culture of the area.
