Marmots usually weigh between 5 and 11 pounds (2 and 5 kg) when fully grown. They get fatter in the fall just before hibernating.marmots reproduce when about two years old, and may live up to an age of 15 years. They reside in colonies; a colony is a group of about ten to 20. Each male marmot digs a burrow soon after he wakes up from hibernation. He then starts looking for females, and by summer has up to four females living with him. Litters usually average 4-5 offspring per female.

This beaver is the largest rodent in North America and the third largest rodent in the world, after the South American capybara and the Eurasian beaver. Adults usually weigh 15 to 35 kg (33–77 lbs), with 20 kg (44 lbs) a typical mass, and measure around 1 m (3.3 ft) in total body length. Very old individuals can weigh as much as 45 kg (100 lbs).
Beavers are mainly active at night. They are excellent swimmers but are more vulnerable on land and tend to remain in the water as much as possible. They are able to remain submerged for up to 15 minutes. The flat, scaly tail is used to signal danger and also serves as a source of fat storage.The beaver's fur consists of long, coarse outer hairs and short, fine inner hairs (see Double coat). The fur has a range of colors but usually is dark brown. Scent glands near the genitals secrete an oily substance known as castoreum, which the beaver uses to waterproof its fur.

The Black Bulbul also known as the Himalayan Black Bulbul, is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is found in southern Asia from India east to southern China.There are a number of subspecies across this large range, mostly varying in the shade of the body plumage (ranging from grey to black), and some also occur in white-headed morphs. The legs and bill are always rich orange-red.
The Black Bulbul is 24–25 cm in length, with a long tail. The body plumage ranges from slate grey to shimmering black, depending on the race. The beak, legs, and feet are all red and the head has a black fluffy crest.

Yellow-bellied Fantails Rhipidura hypoxantha seem to accompany every mixed flock. Brown-capped Laughingthrush Garrulax austeni (victoriae) may be found skulking in bushes and bamboo. Also present are Chinese Babax Babax lanceolatus (recently “split” by Rasmussen et al in the new Indian book) and Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrushes Garrulax erythrocephalus. Although restricted in range, Grey Sibia Heterophasia gracilis is a very common bird here, in both broadleaf and pine forest habitats. Aberrant Bush Warbler Cettia flavolivacea may be found in grassy areas. Orange-flanked Bush Robin Tarsiger cyanurus and Rufous-gorgeted Flycatchers Ficedula strophiata are widespread in winter. At the higher reaches of the mountain Black-throated Tit Aegithalos concinnus gives way to the local race of Black-browed Tit Aegithalos bonvaloti (sharpei). Confiding Streak-throated Barwings Actinodura waldeni and Chestnut-headed Tesias Tesia castaneocoronata were found near a mountain spring.
